Household budgeting on your phone

Know where your money ends up

Save an expense in seconds, set a budget that starts on payday and see what is really left — no spreadsheet, no notebook and no doing sums in your head at the end of the month.

No card, no trial period — the account works straight away and stays free.

The Fynanso dashboard: period from 10 August to 9 September, £2,210.20 left of a £5,200.00 budget, with the share of spending by category below.

The month ends and the money has gone somewhere

  • The money disappears

Your pay comes in, and two weeks later the account looks exactly as it always does — and nobody can say what it went on.

  • The notebook drifts

A spreadsheet works as long as someone remembers to use it every day. One forgotten week and the whole history stops adding up.

  • The bank shows the past

Your banking app lists the payments that have already happened. It does not tell you how much you can still spend before the next payday.

What sets it apart

Your month starts on payday

The first of the month means nothing to you if the money arrives on the tenth. Fynanso counts the budget from payday to payday — the whole family sees the same period, and “how much is left” really refers to the days ahead of you.

Three screens, that is all

The whole app fits under one thumb. Below is exactly what you see once you sign in.

  1. 01Save it

An expense in a few taps

The amount from the keypad, the category from icons, the date already set to today. Saving takes less time than describing it — and if you prefer, just say “coffee £3” and the fields fill themselves in.

    New expense

    £0.00

  2. 02See it

What is left, at a glance

One number at the top of the dashboard answers the only question you ask yourself in a shop. Below it, the budget bar and the split by category, so you can see where that number came from.

The Fynanso dashboard: £2,210.20 left, a budget progress bar and a list of categories with amounts and percentage shares.
  3. 03Go back

The whole period in one place

Every expense with its note, date and category. You move between periods with the arrows, and the total at the top says how much went in the one you are looking at.

Spending history in Fynanso: a list of entries with categories, notes and amounts, with a total of £2,989.80 for the period from 10 August to 9 September at the top.

Keep it within reach

Fynanso is a phone app — once installed it behaves like any other icon on the home screen, offline and without an app store. It takes three taps and needs nothing beyond the browser you already have.

How you install it depends on your browser.

Fynanso is free
